Trust and Security

Trust & Security

Insight you can trust with the truth.

We ask you personal questions, and you deserve to know exactly what happens to your answers. Privacy is not a policy page we bolted on at the end; it is the architecture the whole platform is built on.

Our commitments

Four promises we designed the system around.

Yours alone

Your results are visible to you and no one else.

We never share anything identifiable or about individuals with an employer, a school, or anyone else. The only thing you see after an assessment is your own score.

Encrypted

Confidential in transit and at rest.

Everything you enter is encrypted, and access is limited by design, not by policy alone.

Anonymous by architecture

We work to not know who you are.

We do not ask for your last name; we suggest you use a private email or a service like Apple’s Hide-My-Email, and when you answer any quiz or assessment, and the system finishes analyzing the data, your answers are separated from your account so no response can be tied back to you. By using multiple layers of disintermediation between you and your data, we actively work to protect your privacy.

Aggregate for organizations

Employers never see you.

If your organization offers SPARKS, they receive anonymous, aggregate patterns protected by k-anonymity. They never see an individual. In fact, they system is designed to never show any cohort smaller than thirty (30) individuals. This was designed to preclude someone running multiple reports to identify any one person.

How the architecture works

What actually happens to your answers.

Sign up minimally

You create an account without a last name, ideally with a private or masked email address.

Answers are separated

When you take an assessment, your responses are disintermediated from your identity.

Only your score returns

You get your result; raw answers aren’t tied to a name or a profile anyone can trace.

Organizations see aggregates

Employers only ever receive anonymized results above a k-anonymity threshold, never a cohort small enough to identify a person.

For procurement & security teams

What your reviewers will want to know.

Data minimization

We collect the least we can.

We gather only what an assessment requires, and we separate what we collect from the persona you’ve created, which is also separate from who you are.

k-anonymity enforced

No identifiable cohorts.

Every organizational report is gated so that no group small enough to single out an individual is ever displayed.

No individual exposure

Individual data never leaves the individual.

No setting or tier lets an organization view a specific person’s answers or results.

Your control

Access and deletion.

Your data is yours; you can request deletion of your account at any time.

Questions

Privacy is the point, not the footnote.

If your security team needs a deeper overview, or you just want a straight answer about your data, we are glad to talk.
